The Pendrell Hall observatories are growing in reputation as a significant centre of astronomical activity where a wide range of modern and vintage telescopes are housed. It is an important educational resource and has much observational and research potential with many high quality instruments of up to 16” in aperture. There are many interesting historical links and Pendrell Hall is set to become a notable centre for the study of historical aspects of astronomy also.
